Packers Family Night 09

Saturday we headed over to Lambeau field for Family Night...the day started out hot and sunny but as most of you probably know the actual scrimmage got cancelled as there were severe storms and torrential rains...none the less we had a great time and will definitely be going back again next year...rain or shine:)

There were tons of activities for the kids to enjoy...Nathan attempted some rock climbing but his fear of heights (inherited from his momma) got the best of him in the end..

we got to watch some pre-game shows and about 30 minutes of warm-ups before the thunder,lightening, and rain hit..

after a two-hour delay they let us back on the field to watch an awesome fireworks show...it was worth the wait and wet-butts!

We got back home around 11:30pm and then headed down to Wisconsin Dells sunday morning at 7am for some fun at Noah's Ark..we spent a couple days in the Dells...sorry I forgot my camera:( It is hard to believe that summer is almost over..hopefully we will get to go on a few more little excursions ?sp...before the kids are back in school...hope everyone is enjoying the hot & sunny weather!!
