Breidung Christmas Highlights

As I am a little behind in our Christmas blogging... due to all the traveling we did...here are a few highlights of all our Christmas activities. I had to work Christmas Eve until noon so the kids were anxiously awaiting to open their gifts. I think they were most happy to get their Nintendo DS and Rockband....

Joe was also excited to play the guitar and act like a rockstar..

Our little drummer Karly following in her daddy's footsteps...

The kids woke us up bright and early Christmas morning anxious to see what treats Santa left them. They got a new sled tube to use in all the snow that we have been getting over here.

The gray and white blur you see is our fat cat Tigger...he loved his new toy from Santa..

Otis had no problem opening his present this year..he received his favorite...a new squeaky snake..

Joe had to work Christmas Day so we all went out for a Christmas lunch which was very yummy...and no dishes to do afterwards:) We had plans to leave early Friday morning to head to Nelson to celebrate Christmas with the Breidung family but Mother Nature had other plans for us. We ended up getting about 6 inches of snow so we spent most of the morning "digging out"...AGAIN...and didn't get to leave until afternoon..we then encountered an ice storm on the way and our normal 5 hour drive took us over 7 hours...but we all made it safe and sound. The kids had a great time playing with cousins Olivia & Brett. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died so I didn't get as many pictures as I'd like.

Olivia opening her gifts..

Brett looking on as the cousins tear off the wrapping paper..

Nathan checking out his new stuff..

Karly deciding what to open next..

Sunday morning we packed up again to head over to Grandpa Dave's house for the Hendrickson Christmas. The kids had another fun day off playing with cousins. It was great to see everyone as it had been quite a long time. I unfortunately have no pictures as my camera was dead...I need to learn to charge the batteries before we leave. We are very fortunate to have so many great friends and family to spend the holidays with. We are now home and were welcomed with another 3-4 inches of snow:( We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!
