Meet the Teachers

Today both the kids got to go to their schools to meet their new teachers for the year. Nathan will be attending 4K and has Mrs.Swanson for a teacher. He was so excited to meet her today but once he got there he was a little shy. He loved his classroom as there were many toys/activities that he can't wait to try out. Nathan will be getting on the bus at 7:30am so we have been working on going to bed a little earlier. He will be going to school everyday for half-days.
Karly is in 3rd grade and has Ms.Gauer for a teacher...she was really hoping to get her for a teacher so she is happy! She brought along all her school supplies, picked out which desk she wanted to sit in, organized her desk and decorated her locker...she was quite excited as this is the 1st year that she gets a locker. She can't wait for school to start on Sept 2nd.
I again hope to volunteer once a week in both their classrooms. We are all ready to get back into our busy schedules. Karly starts dance and Nathan starts soccer next week. It is hard to believe summer is almost over.
