Easter Highlights...

Saturday we had good intentions of going to an Easter Egg hunt at the zoo in town...but...we all slept in a little too late and didn't make it there in time so we decided to hide some eggs outside our house. It was a great day...the sun was shining and it was a balmy 50 degrees outside.

After the egg hunt we had Chinese for lunch and then I took the kids to see the Hannah Montana movie...it was actually a really cute movie...Nathan even said he liked it! After the movie we did a little shopping and then relaxed at home...we ended up staying up until almost 11:00 playing Wii. This morning we were awoken bright and early (5:45am...thanks to Karly setting her alarm...) to begin searching for easter baskets and eggs. Karly left an egg out for the bunny...as you can see he ate everything but the shell...

Hunting for the easter eggs...

he must have hopped up on the couch to hide that egg!!

Karly said the Easter bunny really hid the baskets hard this year...she searched for quite awhile before finding her basket in the bathroom closet behind the bath towels...

Nathan was happy to find his basket behind the rocking chair, hidden under a blanket...he had a little help from the chocolate-sniffing pug....

As always...showing off the chocolate bunnies...

Joe made us a wonderful ham dinner with cheesy hashbrowns, stuffing, and all the fixings...we will be eating left-overs for the rest of the week. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying all the wonderful sunshine. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

It looks as if you had an enjoyable Easter....reminds me of when I had kids at home hunting for eggs and baskets.

Hey--we had ham, too! Then again, who doesn't have ham at Easter?? Kind of like the turkey at Thanksgiving, right??? That crazy bunny--he sure is sneaky, isn't he! We found an egg (plastic) THIS year that was hidden LAST year! :-)

We love all your comments!!!
