"We Will Rock You" Dance Recital

Karly's dance recital entitled "We Will Rock You"..was yesterday, she had two performances..one at 2pm and one at 6pm...the shows were great! Karly was in five different dances...tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. Here she is posing at home before the 1st show in her ballerina outfit.

There was no flash photography allowed at the shows and my camera was acting up so my pictures didn't turn out as well as I hoped...here is Karly performing in her tap dance to the Rascal Flatts song "Life Is A Highway"...Karly is the one in the front and center.

This was one of her hip-hop songs... "Switch" by Will Smith...she is the one in the middle in the pink top.









This was Karly with her dance instructor Cari after the last show...all the kids wore those black Manty Dance shirts for the finale dance...there were about 125 kids total! Karly won the "Dancer of the Year " award in her age category...we were very proud of her:)

I was also in the parents dance at the end of the show...we all had a great time...unfortunately Joe didn't get any pics of that but Karly wanted to take a picture of me for the blog in my "costume"...(all the parents wore white tank tops and jeans) striking a pose.
